NEW TOMS IN STORE

The TOMS Fall 2012 Collection is inspired by the pioneers and explorers who have chosen to take the road less traveled. The collection is designed to celebrate these ambitious individuals and encourage the TOMS community to take the unpaved path, to discover the great unknown and gain valuable insight along the way.

Using a variety of warm colors, materials, and worldly patterns, the Fall 2012 Collection encompasses a global and adventurous tone and features fashionable options for all types of journeys. For women, the styles range from the new Desert Wedge for the city-chic, to the more rugged Tomboy Boot. The men’s lineup includes a dressier spin on the Cordones, as well as a more casual option with the Stitchouts.

THE BLUE BAR

Last Friday we organized, together with Birdhouse: The Blue Bar in Jimmy Woo.
It was an amazing blue evening with music from Covergirl Sunny, Jaziah, Tjoller Inc and MC VI.
The best denim dressed boy (Dennis) and girl (Wendy) won a pair of Blue Blood jeans.. Congratulations!
The Blue Blood girls dressed in the gold denim overalls gave away Blue Blood giftbags and made a lot of nice pictures.

Festival update: May

We Dutchies, we love to go to outdoor festivals during summertime. Happily for us the amount of festivals in The Netherlands is massive. Our favorits in the month May are AMSTERDAM OPEN AIR, PACHA and PINKPOP.

After the massively successful premiere of AMSTERDAM OPEN AIR in 2011, it was clear that a follow up was inevitable. The sequel in recreational area Gaasperpark is on Saturday May 26th and Sunday May 27^th. This edition will be expanded: what began as a one day festival has developed into a full weekender, with space to stay the night at the nearby camping site. Amsterdam Open Air is an initiative of AIR and MTV, along with a number of leading organizations in Amsterdam. The program will be an authentic cross section of the metropolitan nightlife.

A new Dutch festival with international attitude is PACHA FESTIVAL organized the 19^th of May on Java Island, Amsterdam. The brand known worldwide for its shiny red cherry logo, extravagant parties with stars, hotels, restaurants and music has decided to put all their great nights together in one day. You find for example Pete Thong on the Pure Pacha stage and Copyright on the Defected In The House area.

PINKPOP FESTIVAL is a festival held at Landgraaf, started in 1970. It is a 3 day festival and visited by approximately 60.000 people a day with performances on 3 separate stages. Since 1990 Pinkpop is included in the Great Guinness Book Of Records as the oldest continuing music festival organize in The Netherlands. Pinkpop is known by the great line up of big National and International artists.
