Did you already made plans for your Whitsunday weekend? Unfortunately the weather promises us no good… Still, we would like to share a few weekend favorites with you:
One. This week the RIGHTABOUTNOW Festival kicked off at the Amsterdam MC Theatre. The festival is one of MC’s annual festivals that includes a razor sharp evening and night program full of cool and innovative musicians, dancers, theatre makers and artists presenting various ways and forms of art, cultures and subcultures. RIGHTABOUTNOW takes place until Sunday May 19.
Two. Tonight Westerunie is hosting a brand new clubnight named KAROUSEL. Karousel is exploring new movements, inspiring artists and musical directions with a strong focus on solid performers, who both strike as individual characters as well as artistically… Curious? Click here, buy your ticket and start celebrating the weekend with some fine house and techno beats.
Three. The infamous SFFEERVOL clubnight at Bitterzoet will be celebrating their 5th birthday on Saturday May 18. You will find dj Snelle Jelle, dj Irwan is presented as special guest of the evening and as the icing on a cake mr. Sffeervol Cream himself will be there as well.
Extra. And for our true dare devils who don’t care what the weather is going to bring, there’s DYINAMIC Festival on Saturday May 18. Deephouse label Diynamic and Studio 80 present this brand new, high quality spring festival together at the Arena Park in Amsterdam! In the summer of 2008, dj Solomun (Diynamic headhunter) made his Dutch debut in the Amsterdam club Studio 80. He returned to the club in 2009 for his first Diynamic label night. As for now, four years later… The collaboration between Studio 80 and Solomun reached a compleet, new high: the worlds first Diynamic Festival. See you there?
